This site has gone through a lot of changes since it's creation in 1996. It originally started as a project for school. I took a class on HTML my freshman year of college and quickly learned there was more to the internet than AOL (aren't we all thankful for that!). So a vast majority of what was on this page then, is still on this page, somewhere. Since it's just my personal pet project, it only gets updated every so often. Enjoy!

I'm really into gaming at the moment. A few friends of mine got me hooked on CS back in 2000, and since then, I've been addicted. It took me a while to figure out that there was something out there besides the MP5 and so you can imagine, I wasn't the best player at first. Sometime later, I found Natural Selection. For whatever reason, I've always played that off and on. And more recently, I've found myself playing a variety of games from The Ship to Battlefield 2142.

I was born on Friday the 13th in January of 1978 in Texas. I only lived there for about a year. Then my family moved to Tennessee where I grew up and graduated from high school. I also went to a near by community college for a year while I was still in high school. I then went on to Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho. Ricks is now known as BYU - Idaho. I graduated as an Elementary Education major in April of 1998. I had planned on going to a school in Tennessee to finish out my education however that didn't work out. Instead I went to Kansas to attend Wichita State University. I graduated with my BA in Elementary Education from WSU in December of 2000. Originally, my plan was to teach English in European countries (ESL) but for whatever reason, somewhere along the line, I dropped the ESL part of my education and focused just on teaching. To some degree, I regret the decision to major in education. Mostly because I feel I've not used it and I really didn't focus on the areas of education that interested me the most. A business degree, marketing, computers, etc, all would have better suited my lifestyle.

When I was young (really young), I always wanted to go to third world countries and teach children. To some degree, that still interests me. I'd love to one day have the opportunity to make a difference for someone who really needs me. I've always wanted to travel the world too. I've only been out of the US once and that was just to see the other side of Niagra. So, one day, I'd like to cross that big ocean and see some historical places - and by historical, I don't mean the last hundred (even two hundred) years. There is a lot out there...one day I am going to see it.

I love working with children, which is why I majored in Elementary Education. I love working with people, and I love computers...except when they do not work. I had the opportunity recently to learn a little SQL. I would love to have the opportunity to learn PHP and other programming languages as well.
